Nationwide Tire & Service Group Promotes the AutoNetTV Programming to Educate and Entertain Customers in their Waiting Rooms
AMERICAN FORK — November 29, 2006 — AutoNetTV and Tire Pros announced today an agreement to promote AutoNetTV’s waiting-room programming to educate and entertain customers in over 300 stores nationwide.
The agreement enables Tire Pros to inform every customer about the performance, safety and cost-saving benefits of performing regular maintenance services, and needed tire and repair services on their vehicle. AutoNetTV utilizes a proven mix of educational reporting, news information, celebrity interviews and movie reviews, and CBS television content to enhance the total customer experience, and raise awareness of the service work that is routinely neglected by vehicle owners.
The Tire Pros franchise program constantly seeks value-added business and marketing benefits for its member locations. The addition of AutoNetTV continues this successful track record of delivering high value programs for members. The Tire Pros franchise system is a flat-fee, royalty-free system that combines the strength of organized members with independent business owners.
“The delivery of the content is what impressed me most about AutoNetTV. That’s what makes this unique programming so effective,” said Ed Mangola, National Marketing Manager for Tire Pros. “This is exactly the kind of support material we try to find for our franchise dealers. Something that can actually help at the point of sale, and improve the customer’s buying experience”
“Tire Pros has earned a reputation for providing excellent products and services to their customers nationwide,” said Robert Cannon, Chairman of AutoNetTV. “We’re delighted that their system recognizes great value in our programming as a tool to increase awareness of the services needed to ensure the performance and safety of vehicles.”
Independent studies have shown customers want to learn how to take better care of their vehicles, but don’t know where to start. The AutoNetTV team of reporters thoroughly researches each issue, drawing on facts and findings presented by the government, independent organizations, automobile manufacturers and their own knowledge.
National studies have shown that 9 out of 10 vehicles have at least one maintenance or repair item that has not been performed, generally due to lack of education. The AutoNetTV program empowers vehicle owners to make informed decisions that will ensure their safety and protect their automotive investment, while also helping the aftermarket to reclaim more of the $52 Billion of maintenance services that are unperformed each year.
